Free collar and ID tag for your dog.

In conjunction with the ASPCA, Shelby Humane Society is offering free collars and tags to dogs in Shelby County.

Bring your dog to the shelter today for your collar and ID tag!

Do you need to complete your volunteer service hours for the “Give Me Five program? Do you want to help SHS and the ASPCA in a research project at the same time? Are you willing to place an ID Tag and or collar on 10 dogs that live in Shelby County and take photos of those dogs with their new tags? We have just the project for you. Please contact Justin Sexton at jsexton@shelbyhumane.org. He will review the requirements with you, supply you with the collar and tags and get you started.

Anyone is welcome to participate in this research project, please contact Justin for details.

Low Cost Vaccine Clinic

Where: Montevallo Fire Station #2 @ 5343 Highway 119, Montevallo

When: Saturday, March 17th from 10am - 12pm

Cost: $25 for feline vaccinations (FVRCP & Rabies) and $25 for canine vaccinations (DA2PPV, Kennel Cough & Rabies) per pet.

Subsidized packages are available for those who qualify for only $15 per pet.

Microchips are FREE, but a donation is appreciated.
