About the Transport Program
Shelby Humane started the Transport Program in 2006 and has since transported over 10,000 animals to partnering shelters and rescues throughout the United States.
Many of our shelter partners are in states that maintain very strict spay/neuter laws. As a result, they have low intake numbers and are eager to receive pets from our shelter.
This program relies solely on volunteer drivers, financial support for the transports we do each month.
We are always looking for additional volunteers to transport our animals.
