Designer Bag Bingo to benefit shelter animals on May 7

Best Friends of Shelby Humane and The Animal League of Birmingham are teaming up to offer guests an enjoyable night of entertainment while raising funds for animals in need during Designer Bag Bingo. Designer Bag Bingo will return on Wednesday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at The Club located at 1 Robert S Smith Drive, Birmingham, AL 35209.


“(Join us) for an unforgettable afternoon of fashion, fun and philanthropy—all to support homeless animals in Jefferson and Shelby Counties,” read an official press release by Shelby Humane. The event will feature the following activities Bingo with a twist – Play for a chance to win a designer handbag Celebrity entertainment – Adam Schwartz of “It’s a Southern Thing” will emcee with Lynden Blake of WBRC calling bingo Cocktails and cuisine – Attendees can enjoy a selection of drinks and a lunch at the event Live music and shopping – Explore an exclusive selection of pop-up shops while enjoying live entertainment Style fashion show – Enjoy watching a fashion show featuring the designs of Frances Valentine


Tickets for the event are now on sale at Designerbagbingo.net and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door. Prices are $125 per ticket or a table of eight can be purchased for $1,200. Tickets include lunch and one bingo card with additional cards available for purchase at the event.
